Equity Research Training Program
The first finance internship is the hardest.
That is why we designed Equity Research Training Program where you can completely bypass the “no experience” barrier that keeps ambitious students like you locked out of finance
You'll transform from 'an invisible applicant' to a published researcher with institutional investor presentation experience in just 3 months (May to August).
In this program you will co-author a research report that will be published on the CLSA research website and distributed to CLSA’s clients. By the end of the program, you will receive hard copies of the research report with your name listed as a co-author serving as evidence in future interviews
WHAT YOU can expect
✅Co-authoring a 40 page CLSA commissioned research report made available on CLSA research website and distributed through its sales network
✅ Presenting key report findings to >50 global investors (TBD - but expect Wellington, Blackrock) over two global calls
✅ Collaborating with Head of CLSA X and CLSA publication team during the publishing process
✅ Identifying both listed and public companies that are best positioned from the rise of AI
✅ Researching top use cases of existing AI tools (i.e. ChatGPT, Claude AI, Midjourney, Suno) to better understand the current landscape of AI capabilities through both desktop and primary research
✅ Creating all research materials in power point format to visually communicate main arguments
✅ Receiving daily mentorship from YR, an ex-equity analyst at CLSA
